We believe that advanced medicine fails when basic skills falter. This platform is dedicated to the “Ground Crew”—the EMTs who form the backbone of emergency medical services.

Our goal is simple: To provide realistic, high-fidelity education and resources that bridge the gap between textbook theory and the unpredictable reality of the street.

The Philosophy: Why “Ground Crew”?

Ground ambulances are the backbone of prehospital medicine. While flight crews play a specialized role, the “Ground Crew” shoulders the responsibility for the vast majority of patient care. We operate in the unpredictable reality of the streets, homes, and highways, where clinical accuracy is not just expected—it is required. We believe that ground providers are not just transporters; they are clinicians who must execute critical life-saving measures with precision, confidence, and expert knowledge. knowledge

Meet the Instructor

Kyler Daybell, A-EMT | EMS Instructor | EMS Course Coordinator

I am a certified Advanced EMT and EMS Instructor based in Utah. My career has been defined by a love for teaching and a dedication to rural EMS.

I started BLS Ground Crew because I saw a need for better training resources that respected the intelligence of EMTs. Too often, training becomes a “check-the-box” activity. I wanted to create a space where providers could find resources that push them to be better clinicians, not just better test-takers.

When I’m not running calls or teaching, I’m usually exploring, hiking, or spending time with my family.
